We have all arrived safely back at our various parts of the country after our stay at Lake Lodge.  Everyone agreed it was a perfect location.  We are all nature lovers and mostly active and were delighted by the wildlife on our doorstep.  The lake provided endless interest with its inhabitants but also gave us the opportunity to get close up.  Several of us swam in the lake and I can confirm it is a very acceptable temperature.

The house is wonderfully equipped, you have thought of everything and the opportunity to camp meant that our children (now adults in their 30s and 40s) were able to join us.

We were lucky with dry weather, yesterday was particularly beautiful and in the evening we cycled out to see the surrounding area.

Being a student of Botany, I found the number and variety of trees planted fascinating and the garden and courtyard areas were enchanting.

I can honestly say it is one of the best locations we have stayed in and I am already thinking ahead to next year to try and plan another visit.

What an amazing place!  We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  There was something for everyone.  We hope to return

Thank you for a lovely stay.  The house is extremely homely, peaceful and relaxing.  We enjoyed the boating, kayaking, local walks and tennis.  Perfect for a family Easter gathering.  We hope to return.

Really enjoyed our New Year stay at Lake Lodge.  A truly peaceful and relaxing house.  Loved kayaking and boating on the lake.  Even swam!  Will definitely be returning.

What an incredible Christmas in this beautiful house.  The house itself has been perfect with everything we’ve needed and more.  The local pub was perfect for a Boxing Day drink and we’ve enjoyed several trips out boating on the lake.  Thank You.
